rooftop views and the city that never sleeps

I went to NYC for the weekend to visit some friends from college. It was a splendid time of catching up, exploring, and spending hours at the Met. I was thrilled from top to bottom and filled with fellowship and beauty. Over the next few days, I’ll share a bit about my trip. I learned more about God’s faithfulness and timing, even in the little stuff. I was inspired over and over by the colors of the skyline and the colors of the city for new art. Here are some of the photos I took from a rooftop of a friend’s apartment. It was perfectly rainy and cloudy and captures some sweet light.

If you’re on the East coast at all, you should! Megabus and other bus companies offer really cheap round trip tickets! 😉
