I am very thankful at this moment in time for a family who blesses me with their support and confidence in my artistic endeavors. I did not expect them to welcome my desire to be an artist so readily, yet they have. I am not sure what I expected, but I certainly didn’t expect a line of eager brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, friends, parents, to ask for my art to be in their homes. It all started when my Dad asked me to design a set of 9 paintings for his business he opened a couple of years ago. From then, I have done several pieces for family members and friends-such an honor. It humbles me each time someone asks for a painting as a gift or wants to commmssion one! I feel like I was made to create. They have embraced my silly, quirky, odd, artsy self without hesitation. Thank you family and friends. And, did I mention, I have the BEST brother-in-law in the world. He made and surprised me with well over 20 new wooden frames for me to put canvas on (see picture of some left in the trunk…)! Do you know how expensive those large artist-grade canvases are? I am blessed.  I cannot wait to start creating more art. Soon, I will share my finished paintings that I have been working on. Looking forward to the end of the work week so I will have more time to paint and draw and find some potential hi res photographers or scanners to scan my larger canvases. I hope to have prints in my shop within a few weeks!

Exciting stuff happening with Jengadi Jean art over here.
